fynbos storm

Cape Town, much like most of the UK, is situated in a weekend rainfall region. However the organisers seem to have been getting it a bit wrong this winter and we've had beautifully sunny weekends interspersed with some rather spectacular storms during the week. I'll spare you yet another lightning shot and share instead this atmospheric one snatched during a fleeting patch of sunlight in between rain squalls:
